My Take
DiVoran Lites

Wise and gentle correction from earthly fathers help children grow up straight and good. I am your heavenly father. I correct you too. Even when it seems that I have been harsh, my actions are always more helpful and fair that those of the best earthly father. You can trust that I am working everything out for the best. When you obtain the tools to help you understand the peaceful way to live, you find true wisdom and a fountain of blessing.
When I do correct you, you must never take it lightly and never be upset about it. If you are upset, you may tell me and we’ll work it out together. When you are afraid or disappointed or angry about something, you will do well to thank me for it. In that way revelation will come to you, soothe your bruises and set you free from worry and mental pain. Don’t fight me or question me but yield to me and you will find the gates of Heaven opening to pour understanding into your spirit.
Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go. Be faithful to all you’ve read in the Bible and been taught. Let your life be shaped by integrity with truth written upon your heart. That’s how you find favor and understanding.
Wisdom gives the ability to take raw facts and draw right conclusions and meaning from them. My discipline comes from my passionate love for you.
No One Ever Cared for Me like Jesus

DiVoran has been writing for most of her life. Her first attempt at a story was when she was seven years old and her mother got a new typewriter. DiVoran got to use it and when her dad saw her writing he asked what she was writing about. DiVoran answered that she was writing the story of her life. Her dad’s only comment was, “Well, it’s going to be a very short story.” After most of a lifetime of writing and helping other writers, DiVoran finally launched her own dream which was to write a novel of her own. She now has her Florida Springs trilogy and her novel, a Christian Western Romance, Go West available on Amazon. When speaking about her road to publication, she gives thanks to the Lord for all the people who helped her grow and learn. She says, “I could never have done it by myself, but when I got going everything fell beautifully into place, and I was glad I had started on my dream.”
Wonderful truths here. I have warm memories associated with the song.
