From the Heart
Louise Gibson

His name is “Loneliness”.
He steals our contentment.
I didn’t recognize his strategy
until I suffered from resentment.
Being alone is not always a choice-
Circumstance plays a role.
Prepare your heart for the inevitable.
Prevent it from taking a toll.
Use your ‘alone time’ as a blessing.
Plant the seed of creativity and watch it
grow.
You may amaze yourself.
You are far more talented than you know.

It must be very hard to live alone. I get lonely sometimes, but I don’t live alone. When I get lonely I start thinking about things I could do to allievate the lonliness. I guess you might say I blame myself for it. Eventually I began to remember to give it to God, just as you have, and to ask him to bring the people into my life that he wantsinteract with each day. It helps so much that I’m trying to remember it every day. Your poems really help, Louise. Thank you.
