From My Heart
Louise Gibson

We need “cheer leaders” in our life-
the challenges are many.
When funds are low, and our debts are high-
where do we find help, if any?
Encouragement is a gift that is infectious-
the recipient feels compelled to pass it on.
God wants us to be “team players”.
Not everyone gets to carry the baton.
Lord, I’d be happy to be the “water boy”-
I have no need to be a ” star”.
Help us all to do our best,
’til you call us home where You are.
“Trust in the Lord, and do good”. Psalm 37:3

I don’t believe you missed the mark at all. When our funds are low is one of the times we need to be encouraged. Sometimes we miss the mark when we feel that what we have to offer is not enough to encourage someone. We do a disservice to those in need by thinking we have to be a star when they really do need a water boy,

I missed the mark on this one. I didn’t mean to put any emphasis on monery. My heartfelt desire was to put the ermphasis on loving and erncouraging one another. I do hoper that came through.
